It collapses the rear of the canopy, and slows the canopy down. This swings you forward (the legs you see kicking) like a pendulum. But be aware, is a goos idea play all thre before games, ans really worth spend time, even MGS1 been Playstation 1. 2 - Drake's Uncharted - Fun, really fun 3 - Ratchet and Clank - My best ever ( but i'm biased :-) 4 - Resistance ( more now that is in savings ) 5 - Install coherence media server on you Linux server and buy a remote control. You never more will touch things like mplayer :-) Best simple media client ever !! 6 - ( optional ) If you have a PSP, remote control make the lazy people happy 7 - Been able to use all kind of standard usb device in it, usb keys, external hard drives. And been able to use the controllers on linux with bluetooth or usb So this is just the few initial tips, and the only thing i'm really missing in PS3 today are Mass Effect and Halo, but Mass Effect runs on Windows, and this i solved.
