KNewStuff

Collaborative Data Sharing in KDE Applications

The KNewStuff3 library adds data sharing capabilities to KDE applications. It uses libattica to access Open Collaboration Services providers. In addition the static xml from GHNS is supported.

Application authors should use KNS3::DownloadDialog for downloading with get hot new stuff. For the upload KNS3::UploadDialog is used.

Related information such as creation of *.knsrc files can be found on techbase: Get Hot New Stuff tutorials.
